Using Gleam

Gleam is self-custody software. You hold your key, and you're responsible for your password and your backups.

No recovery by us

We can't access, reset or recover your key, your password or your funds.

Transactions are final

Transactions on Arweave and AO can't be reversed. Check the recipient and the amount before you sign.

Third-party services

Gateways, AO nodes, price sources and the sites you connect are run by others. We don't control whether they're available or accurate. Prices shown in Gleam are estimates.

Not financial advice

Gleam is a tool. It isn't a financial service, broker, exchange or adviser.

Gleam Points

Gleam Points is an optional program. Points have no cash value, aren't property or a security, and can't be bought, sold or transferred.

Gleam plans to turn points into GLEAM and to offer benefits to people who stake it, such as early access to AO project launches, Projects come to you, lower fees and a share of the fees Gleam earns. The timing, conversion rate, eligibility and terms of GLEAM and of each benefit are set when they launch. A benefit may launch later than others, change, or not be offered where the law doesn't allow it. Nothing on our site or in the wallet is an offer to sell GLEAM.

We may change the rules, pause the program or end it at any time. Points are reviewed before they're turned into anything, and we may remove points from wallets that abuse the program, for example through fake accounts or automation. The current rules are on the Gleam Points page.

Licence and warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty, under the MIT License. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from using it.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new date.
